Mother's Day Wishing Wells

Venetian masks have been a tradition for centuries in Venice.

Some Venetian masks are full-face masks and some are eye-masks.

They are mainly worn in the Carnival on Pancake Tuesday.

The mask is also worn when the wearer wants to keep his/her identity a secret.

The masks are always decorated and are bright in colour.
