The National Children's Choir

Children from the two Fourth classes in St. Joseph's joined The National Children's Choir in September last and have been very busy learning songs since then! They went to Carrickmacross and to Kells to rehearse with children from other schools.
On April 14th they sang in The Parish Hall in Ardee. There were 440 children on the stage! Sr. Ciarán played piano and nine other musicians played too - Trombone, French Horn, Coronet, Violins, Accordions, Flute and Drums. Everyone sang their hearts out and the audience gave them a standing ovation at the end of the concert!

On Monday May 30th seven children from St. Joseph's will sing in The National Concert Hall with over 300 children from schools all over the country. Children from Dunshaughlin, Kells, Carrickmacross and Julianstown will be singing in The National Concert Hall too.

Good luck to our representatives in
The National Concert Hall.
