School Garden

Project Work

Pride of Place

Judging for The Pride of Place Competition took place on Wednesday May 25th so Ms. Savage and her team of helpers have been very busy with the final tidy up of the garden and playgrounds. We hope that you like all of the improvements that have been made to our school this year.

We planted lots of bulbs in 2009.
We had lots of lovely flowers last spring.
During the winter the plants have been resting under the ground.

Can you see the small green shoots coming out of the ground?

On February 9th the flowers had grown a lot!

Snowdrops

The flowers on the crocus will open out on a warm, sunny day.

Monday February 21st was a nice, warm, sunny day so the crocuses opened up and we could see inside the flowers.

Tulip flowers might open in April.

The flower will open on this hyacinth soon.
