The pupils in Senior Infant Classes were delighted to welcome their grandparents into the School Assembly Hall for Grandparents’ Day. There was a huge attendance and grandparents shared stories with us about their own school days. Grandparents talked about where they went to school, what they wore, what games they played and whether they liked their teachers. The pupils sang for them and said a poem about grandparents .Amelie’s granny read a story about a granny and a granddad for the pupils. We were delighted to welcome a special great-grandmother to this event .
