As you all know, following the Taoiseach’s directive to all schools, St Joseph’s Mercy Primary School will remain closed until 29th March. We will update you on further information as we receive it through the Text-a-Parent service.
Please read the statement issued yesterday by the Department of Education and Skills.
We recommend that children read lots of books, do puzzles, crosswords, play board games / educational games, make jigsaws, draw/paint pictures and help out at home for the duration of the school closure. You will find free online resources for every subject for children from junior infants to sixth classes on www.twinkl.ie/offer. Please enter the code IRLTWINKLHELPS. Other educational resources are available on www.scoilnet.ie.
I hope that you and your families remain in good health and we look forward to seeing you all when school re-opens.
Kind regards, Ann Murphy (Principal)
