September 24th is a day of great celebrations for all schools founded by the Mercy Sisters. The day was marked in St Joseph’s, Navan, with a special Mass which was celebrated in our Assembly Hall by Fr. Louis. The Mass was attended by all pupils from 2nd Class to 6th Class. We welcomed some of the Sisters of Mercy from our local community and other invited guests to the Mass. We extended a special welcome to Sr. Peter Daly , a former principal of our school ,who this year celebrated her 96th birthday.
