Today is 1st October and it is National Tree Day. We are very fortunate to have many beautiful trees on the grounds of our school. We know that trees are so important in providing habitats for many creatures, as well as taking carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and replacing it with oxygen. Having lots of trees on our grounds means that we can all enjoy fresh air! Our Junior Infants, who are now in our school for one whole month, took advantage of the beautiful autumn sunshine today to walk around and look at all of the trees and their autumn colours.
