Homework Club runs Monday to Thursday straight after school for one hour. This programme is funded through the CCS (community child care scheme) under POBAL and DCYA. Students can be referred to homework club by the class teacher and Principal. Places are limited and will be provided to those most in need at that time.
Transition Programme :We will be running the Transition Programme with our 6th Class boys and girls after Easter. The programme is called “Mind the Gap”, offering students the opportunity to identify their feelings about transitioning to post primary school. It is a class based; 2 to 3 session programme and students will get the chance to ask questions from a student who is in post primary school, Students love this opportunity as it provides real insights! If you have any concerns regarding transferring please contact Sinead or Christina for assistance. If you are experiencing any difficulty with transferring to post primary school please contact us for advice and assistance. We also have two very useful leaflets developed by students and parents on tips for moving to post primary schools. Leaflets will be provided to all 6th class students each year
