The Soccer World Cup may have started last week in Russia but our school had its own sporting highlight on Monday June 18th when our 6th Class pupils played a staff team in basketball. In a very close match the pupils earned a draw with the staff thanks to the expert coaching they had received all year from Ms. Kane !!. Happily there was no need for any yellow or red cards -but we did have a few red faces on both teams from all the running . A spy in the staffroom tells me that the teachers are already planning their training schedule for next year!!
