We celebrated World Book Day in St. Joseph’s on Thursday, 2nd March. Children from all classes took part in all kinds of reading activities. Many children dressed up as a character from a favourite book. Children brought their favourite books to school and talked about them with their friends. Older children read books for younger children. Everybody stopped to read for DEAR time at 12 noon. Some children designed bookmarks for Navan Library to mark World Book Day. We encourage all of our children to be an active member of Navan Library. In St. Joseph’s, we love to read books …
A book is a gift you can open again and again!
