A very successful raffle was held in the school before the Christmas Holidays to raise money for the Mercy Missions in Zambia. The first two prizes were beautiful hampers sponsored by Glamore Foods. Other prizes were also donated to Ms Caffrey and her organising committee of students. The money raised by this raffle and money from class Mission Boxes (€1,192), was presented to Sr. Marie Louise Moore in the school recently. Sr. Marie Louise thanked the pupils and their families for their generosity. She explained that the money would be spent on educational projects in Zambia.
